History of the department
In accordance with the decision of the Academic Council of September 24, 1998, on the initiative of Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Higher School, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor E.S. Nusupov, a new department “Organization of Road Traffic” was opened on the basis of the Faculty of Engineering. The staff of the department was 5 teaching staff and 1 UVP.
In 2001-2025 Head of the department: Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Matkerimov T.Y., Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Chodoev K. B., Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Mamontov V.T., Candidate of Technical Sciences , associate professor Barpiev A. Zh. and candidate of technical sciences, associate professor Zhusupbekov B.T. Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Bolotov E.A.
From February 4 2025 the head of the department is and candidate of technical ciences, associate professor Zhusupbekov B.T.
In November 2001, by order No. 261 of the Kyrgyz Agrarian Academy, the department of “Road Traffic Management” was renamed the department of “Traffic Organization and Safety”.
In 2003, the department opened a second specialty in this area – OPUT (organization of transportation management in transport)
In 2008, the department of “OBD” was divided into the departments of “OBD” and “OPUT”.
In 2017, the departments “OBD” and “OPUT” were merged and renamed to “Organization of transportation and traffic safety.”
In 2020, the department opened a new direction “Logistics” and which trains specialists in the profile “Transport Logistics”.
The department is a graduating department in the direction 670300-Technology of transport processes in the following profiles:
- Ø Organization of transportation and transport management;
- Ø Organization of transportation and traffic safety;
- Ø Customs in transport.
Currently, the department employs: 2 candidates of technical sciences, associate professors: Zhusupbekov B.T., Bolotov E.A., 5 senior teachers: Omorov B.A., Akmatova R.E., Akmatova S.Zh., Tezekbaev T .S., Ryskulova D.Z., assistant Ismanov U.Zh., engineer Saparbekova V.Z. and laboratory assistant Yesenalieva N.K.

- Zhusupbekov B.T. is working on his doctoral dissertation “Development of a scientific and methodological basis for creating hydraulic shock machines with reduced vibration.” This topic was approved on September 27, 2012 at the Academic Council of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- Bolotov E.A. She is working on her doctoral dissertation “Increasing the efficiency of road freight transport based on the formation of regional transport and logistics systems (using the example of the Kyrgyz Republic).” This topic was approved on May 27, 2013 at the Academic Council of the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University. K.I. Scriabin.
- Tezekbaev T.S. is working on his Ph.D. thesis “Reducing the vibration load of a hydraulic press on the base machine by dynamic processes.” This topic was approved on September 27, 2012 at the Academic Council of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic.
- Akmatova S.Zh. is working on his Ph.D. thesis “Development of an installation for sowing and water supply for drip irrigation of melons and melons.” This topic was approved on March 31, 2015 at the Academic Council of the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University. K.I. Scriabin. On November 29 2024 he successfully defended his doctoral thesis .
