Department "Organization of transportation and traffic safety"
History of the department
In accordance with the outcome of the Academic Council of September 24, 1998, on the initiative of the academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Higher School, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor E.S. Nusupov, a new department “Organization of traffic” was opened on the basis of the Faculty of Engineering. The staff of the department consists of 5 teaching staff and 1-UVP.
The first head of the department was Ph.D., associate professor Matkerimov T.Y., in 2001, the head of the department was Ph.D., associate professor Chodoev K.B.
In November 2001, by order No. 261 of the Kyrgyz Agrarian Academy, the department
“Organization of traffic” was renamed into the department “Organization and traffic safety”.
In 2002, the head of the department was Ph.D., associate professor Mamontov V.T.
From 2004 to 2020, the head of the department was Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Barpiev A. Zh.
In 2003, the department opened the second specialty in this area – OPUT (organization of transport management in transport)
In 2008, the department “OBD”(Traffic safety organization)
was divided into the departments “OBD” and “OPUT”.
In 2017, the departments of “OBD” and “OPUT” were merged and the department was renamed to “Organization of transportation and traffic safety”.
From February 25, 2020, the head of the department is Ph.D., associate professor Zhusupbekov B.T.
The department is a graduating department and trains specialists in the direction 670300 “Technology of transport processes”.

- Bolotov E.A. is working on a doctoral dissertation entitled: “Improving the efficiency of road freight transportation based on the formation of regional transport and logistics systems (on the example of the Kyrgyz Republic)”.
Approved at US KNAU dated 27.05.2013.
- Tezekbaev T.S. is working on his Ph.D. thesis entitled “Dynamic processes in hydraulic hammers and reducing the vibration load on the base machine.”
Approved at the CA of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic of 27.09.2012.
Head Department, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Zhusupbekov B.T. is the executor of the implementation of the state budget topic of research work on the project “Research, creation and improvement of energy and material-saving machines and equipment for industry, construction and agriculture.”
